Linking practical cattle breeding with science
For nearly eighty years the British Cattle Breeders Club has brought farmers, scientists and industry together to turn research into better breeding on British farms.
BCBC Conference 2027 · 25 to 27 January · Telford · Bookings now open
Welcome
The home of progressive cattle breeding
The Club is a unique forum where dairy and beef farmers, breeders, vets, geneticists, industry professionals and researchers come together to share ideas. Our annual conference, digests and farm walks share the science that matters into knowledge that can be put to use at the farmgate.
For nearly eighty years the Club has brought research and practice together, and it remains as independent and welcoming today as when Sir John Hammond founded it in 1946. A place where the industry can meet on equal terms, challenge received wisdom and share what they know.
