Conference Digests

Back home/Digests

Every year following the British Cattle Breeding Conference, the Club publishes its Digest – a full written record of the papers and talks presented at that year's event. The Digests ensure that the research and thinking shared at the conference remains available to breeders, farmers, vets, and scientists long after the event itself has ended.

Published continuously since the Club's earliest conferences in the late 1940s, the Digests together form an extensive library of cattle breeding science spanning decades. Whether you are looking to explore the latest developments or trace the evolution of ideas across the years, the collection offers a remarkable resource. The most recent Digests are available below. For earlier editions and historical material, please contact the secretary directly.
